How the legacy was born…

 

The Wiens Ranch Company Inc. was established in 1993 and since its purchase in 1990 by Tom and Diana Wiens it has evolved into a true powerhouse of the Cutting Horse Industry. Nestled In the foothills of the Rocky Mountains this 2,000 acre establishment is located 15 miles southeast of Castle Rock, Colorado. From its beginning, a dedication and promise to produce premier and exceptional equine athletes has been withheld with an impressive resume to prove it. The Wiens Ranch is responsible for skyrocketing “The Smart Look’ into her historic title of one of the top producing dams of all time. Additionally, The Wiens Ranch is proud to say that they are responsible for the 1999 NCHA Derby Champion “Smart Lookin Hi Brow” (LTE $216,394.50) The 2003 NCHA Open Futurity Champion “One Smart Lookin Cat” (LTE $266,310) and “WR This Cats Smart” (LTE $236,514) who is an outstanding stud with an impressive show record. These are simply the top examples of the inventive breeding that has made the Wiens Ranch emerge as a top breeder and producer of performance horses. The Wiens Ranch also has money earners in the PRCA, NRCHA and the NRHA.

Meet The Crew

Owners

     Tom and  Diana Wiens

Tom and Diana fell in love with the sport of cutting and turned there passion into a world class cutting facility. They have now owned the Wiens Ranch for nearly 20 years and have continued to develop this premiere breeding and performance horse program into what it is today. Tom currently runs New West Capital, a Mortgage business. Diana is the President of Wiens Ranch Company and works with Tom everyday in this family owned and run operation. Tom and Diana have four children, Lauren and her husband Joey, Travis, Sarah and Hannah who all also share their love and commitment to the Equine Industry. They have also been recently blessed with one grandchild named Blair. Tom and Diana just celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary and are excited for the great things the future holds for the Wiens Ranch. Their faith and dedication to excellence in the Equine Industry is truly what has made the success of The Wiens Ranch possible.
